Privacy Policy

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your first appointment.

Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a Health History Form and Consent to Massage Therapy treatment to ensure safe and comfortable treatment. The Health History Form must be updated once a year or sooner if there are significant changes to your health, eg. surgery, serious illness. The information in your file is strictly confidential. It can only be released with your prior written consent or if required by law.

Cancellation Policy

As a sole practitioner, 100% of my income comes from my valued clients. Therefore, short notice cancellations and missed appointments jeopardize my livelihood. They also take away treatment slots from someone who could benefit from my care.

24 hour cancellation notice is required. A full fee of the treatment will be charged for cancellations with less than the minimum notice required or for missed appointments.

If you’re unable to attend your appointment and cannot cancel with sufficient notice, feel free to donate your treatment to a friend, family member, etc. They will be very grateful.

Please note that late arrival may shorten the duration of the treatment so that the next client will begin on time.

Thank you for valuing my time.

Refusal of Treatment

For safety purposes, I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • disrespectful comments or behaviour
  • intoxication
  • derogatory or bigoted comments
  • sexual or romantic advances
  • illness or infectious conditions
  • contagious or unidentified skin conditions

Please reschedule your appointment if you are sick. If you develop a skin condition, please confirm with your doctor before scheduling your treatment. Thank you for your participation in keeping my home practice safe.
